Based on a SecurityMetrics study, merchants often unknowingly store unencrypted payment card data on their business network. SecurityMetrics Assurance provides a simple way to find unencrypted payment card data at your business with SecurityMetrics PANscan (primary account numbers scan).

PANscan searches business networks, workstations, and storage devices for PAN and magnetic stripe track data. After scans are complete, a summary report points you to the location of found card data, making it easy to delete.

To stay up to date with Payment Card Industry requirements and changes on your business network, regular use of PANscan is recommended. Once PANscan is downloaded, you may run scans to check for unwanted data as often as desired.

Supported operating systems: Windows Server® 2003, Windows Server® 2008, Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, Ubuntu 10, Mint 10, CentOS 5. Other Linux distributions are available upon request.
